A New Jersey town has demanded that residents pull up their pants after receiving complaints from tourists. The city of Wildwood -- population 5,290 -- is making headlines around the world for banning saggy, baggy pants on its 3 km boardwalk this week, citing complaints from visitors who criticized the longstanding fashion trend popular among male youth as an offensive eyesore. Anyone wearing pants slung lower than three inches from the waist to expose either underwear or skin risks fines of up to $200 USD. Shirts must also be worn on the boardwalk between 8 pm and 5 am. The new bylaw was voted on despite the objection of civil liberties groups who say the move infringes on the freedom of expression and is unconstitutional. The Jersey Shore city joins municipalities in New Orleans, Chicago, Atlanta, Detroit, Miami and Jacksonville, Florida that have passed similar laws banning saggy pants. vs/cmIni pula trend kegemaran remaja perempuan 'Low Cut'
